Seamless transitions from construction to operations

Commissioning + Start-up Management

Our Commissioning and Start-Up Management services ensure that every component of your facility performs reliably from day one. We bring structure, expertise, and leading technology to help your projects launch on time, safely, and without surprises.

Our commissioning Process

A successful start-up begins long before the system is turned on. Our structured process covers every phase of commissioning and start-up with a focus on safety, quality, and operational readiness.

We establish the foundation for the entire commissioning effort. Key activities include:

  • Defining contractor deliverables within bid packages
  • Establishing the commissioning team structure and roles
  • Developing commissioning documentation (test plans, procedures)
  • Procuring specialized tools and equipment
  • Implementing safety and communication protocols across all teams

To reduce risk and rework, FAT is conducted before equipment arrives on-site. This includes:

  • Verifying design specifications and performance
  • Integrated system tests and hardware validation
  • Resolving issues before delivery to prevent field delays

This phase transitions ownership from construction to commissioning. Activities include:

  • Final inspections and walkdowns
  • Redline drawings and documentation validation
  • Point-to-point wiring verification
  • Subsystem handovers based on system readiness

Our team initiates pre-commissioning tasks such as:

  • Cleaning, flushing, pressure testing
  • Energization of electrical systems
  • Functional checks, calibration, valve stroking
  • Identification and correction of deficiencies

Once systems are commissioned, we move to controlled startup:

  • Gradual ramp-up of mechanical and electrical systems
  • Field-level instrumentation and control validation
  • Performance optimization and fine-tuning
  • Safe handover to trained operations personnel

Utilizing CXAlloy: Digital Commissioning for Complete Oversight

We leverage CxAlloy, a cloud-based commissioning management platform, to provide complete visibility and accountability across all project phases.

  • Workflow Management: Clearly defined responsibilities and real-time updates
  • Issue Tracking: Open items and punch lists managed and resolved quickly
  • Custom Checklists: Tailored templates for rotating equipment, electrical, instrumentation, and fixed machinery
  • Operational Readiness: Built-in Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) workflows
  • Standardization & Templates: Speeds up documentation and ensures consistency across systems

The result? Fewer surprises, faster resolutions, and a data trail that supports operations long after project handover.
